In September 2020, Viaro Energy completed the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Rockrose Energy in an all-cash transaction. RockRose Energy currently holds Viaro Energy’s upstream interests in more than 30 fields, which include assets in the UKCS and Netherlands producing up to 30,000 boepd per year.

UK Southern North Sea

RockRose Energy has interests in several producing gas fields and exploration opportunities in the UK Southern North Sea. These include assets in the Bacton Capture Area and the Easington Capture Area, as well as the Sean field and the Anning and Somerville development.

UK Central North Sea

RockRose Energy currently holds non-operated interests in five UK Central North Sea oil and gas fields, consisting of both mature and recently onstream assets. These include the Arran, Nelson & Howe, and Blake & Ross fields.

West of Shetland

RockRose Energy’s operations in the West of Shetland consist of non-operated interests in the Greater Laggan Area, following Viaro Energy’s successful acquisition of the SSE exploration and production gas assets in 2021.

The Netherlands

RockRose Energy has operated in the Dutch oil and gas exploration and production sector since 2018. With non-operated interests in predominantly mature gas assets, its investments are mainly focused on supporting life extension initiatives in this area.
